You should not miss a visit to the famous Eurialo Castle with its Mura Dionigiane (5 km far from Syracuse); it is considered to be the biggest strategic military fortress of the greek past.
You can reach Pantalica (Unesco world heritage site), the baroque town Noto and the characteristic Cassibile Caves.
If you go out of the province of Syracuse you can visit the town of Caltagirone with its world-famous pottery.
If you would like to go to the province of Catania (Etna and the Verga places) you have to subscribe to the excursion when you book your room so that we can organize a tour with a local guide (you can choose between lunch or dinner at restaurant and come-back to B&B Gelone).
